kwman Registered User Join Date: May 2007 Posts: 2	89 aod trans to a 5.0 engine i have a 89 tbird and after years of fighting a overheating problem i'd like to put the 3.8 engine in the dumpster and install a 5.0 enigine.will the 5.0 hook up to my aod trans.also will will the trans be able to handle the extra hp.
