I am about to get a garaged 92 thunderbird from my Grandfather with the V8 in it..... I was wondering is it the HO version in these cars? I think it says LX on the back, I have not seen the car in years so I do not really know.
To the best of my knowledge, some, but not all, early 90's Thunderbirds had the H.O. motor, and also I believe it was identical to the one found in Mustangs of that year. But as I said, I am not 100% sure. Hope this helped!
It would handle better with the SC V6...but is there really a substitute for raw V8 power? You should also think about some ground effects...this is what our's looked like when we sold it. I wish we still had it today...
