Help! My emergency brake light stays on when driving. Goes out once in a while. Has 90,000 Miles, used for short commute 2-3 miles. Have put brake on and taken off several times. Pulled up on it as well. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions outside of a $50 mechanic ck?

Check the emergency brake switch. Have you checked the brake fluid level?

Thanks for helping. No, I haven't cked the switch or the brake fluid. I thought the emergency brake light only pertained to the emergency brake. Thanks, I'll ck that out.
