My birdy has a rough idle only when in gear at a stop in any gear. Is my torque converter shot.oh forgot, its a lx 3.8 litre.

could the vibration be bad engine mounts. i ordered ew mounts from rock auto. im hoping this little purchase will help once installed. i think its a bad vibration more so so than a rough idle.

Well,
As it turns out, trans was not the problem. The engine mounts were shot, like metal on metal on the right and crushed and cracking on left. 35 bucks for mounts from rockauto and 266.25 labor and tax installed,not to mention the mechanic did not charge me for all the band aids he may or may not need.lol anyhow vibration gone and car runs like it was off the showroom floor. 17 years ago it was.wow really nice I must say. I just realized somthing, this caf is as heavy as my 06 charger was.lmao....
