i have a 94 tbird 4.6 with automatic trans there is a switch on the shifter to cut the o/d out and a lite on the dash to indicate when this switch is engauged the dash lite is on most of the time even though the switch is not activated o/d works properly i am guessing it is a bad sensor does any one know the location of that sensor or any other ideas thanks

I own a 95 Thunderbird, with the same drivetrain as yours. Many things have worn out, but I haven't ran into a problem like yours yet. I see that no one has yet to respond to your post, have you found the cause of the problem?
