'94 T-Bird Issues

I just started having an issue getting my T-Bird started this evening. The starter is turning the engine, and the engine starts, but only for a split second. If I push the gas pedal at the right time I can get the engine to rev up, but as soon as I let off the gas it stalls. A couple guys at my work suggested looking at the ERG Valve or Idle Air Control Valve and try cleaning it out, but I'm not certain where this would be located.

Any help is appreciated.

Re: '94 T-Bird Issues

The EGR on the 3.8 is located at the back of the engine a bit to the left on top (as you face the engine) one vacume line on the top and a large metal pipe coming off the left side from below the unit.
Its fairly easy to remove/replace.
