ok so i just got a 94 thunderbird it has the v-8 and automatic. and when i put it in reverse and give it gas it jumps and really dont wanna go back but it will it is really bad jerking when u hit the gas. anyone know what it is doing that. the car has about 60,xxx miles on it. and what kinda transmission do i have in the car. thanks

Check the code on the door plate for the code for the trans. When you say jerking, is the engine missing at all?

sometimes it misses when u back up and the jerking starts. and sometimes when u go forward it will miss a little. i checked all the fluids and every thing is great.

I'd fix the engine running and see if that's all it is. You can run a test to see if there are any codes . Try this. Fuel Injection Technical Library � How To Run a Self-Test
