hey all, my bird is burning oil pretty fast. odometer stopped working at 92,577 so not exactly sure of true mileage. but car does run good. also let a friend ride her as i followed on my bike and noticed smoke out the rear only when hit the gas pedal. please feed some input as always any would be greatly appreciated. thanks

The 4.6 through 1995 had poor valve seals and replacing them will stop the oil use. I've done several and the cars stopped the oil use in every one.

ok thanks i will look into that.... hey while im here can you tell me why my volts gauge dances around especially when there is a load like a blinker or power window being used. now i had the alt., batt., checked at autozone and they said they passed. even though i dont trust those guys but had no choice seeing how i do not own a meter.

It's possible theres a poor connection in the instrument cluster. Hard to say without checking the circuits.
