alright just bought the car tonight knowing it had this issue, but I'm hoping for a not so difficult fix but I'm guessing worst case new tranny.

Anywho, if you take off even mid throttle it goes just fine, if you really put your foot into it (so far no matter what the speed) the rpms go up, but the car doesn't lol. I would guess tranny slip.... would new fluid, maybe some lucas additive help?

Possible a worn out gear, bad torque converter. I don't think new fluid would work. Had the same issue with my last car... Replaced fluid and the problem got worse.

Lucas additive might work.

I'm gonna give the additive a go... see what happens. I gotta lot smoke comin from around that area if it slips.... (don't really see til you park it)

Could be the clutch packs burnt out also ?

Numerous clutch packs inside auto transmission , varies from car to car .
