Advice for buyer needed, '97 V-8
Hey, just joined and thought some of you might have some good insight on some things to look for when considering a purchase of a T-bird. A neighbor is selling it and I have not spent much time looking it over but plan to this weekend. I know it is a V-8, has about 70K miles and has leather and the paint seemed good from what I recall. Are there any particular trouble areas on these cars to look out for? I would guess that the plastic intake manifold's thermostat housing may crack like on other Fords but what else should I look for?
