That sucks! How was it acting before it went out? Kind of like a missing or shuddering? I think the head gaskets in my girlfriends 95 LX with the 4.6 v8 is going out now. I new the 3.8 had head gasket problems, but never heard of the 4.6 blowing them.
yes the gaskets on the 4.6 have a little issue with a weakpoint. Not often will you hear of them letting loose, but there is one area that will let go first. I will find the pic and post it up.
