took my 96 t-bird 4.6l v-8 to midas today to check out a/c, clutch works fine just leaking from the o-rings. (THEY SAY) they want almost $900.00 for compressor and drier. could i just have the o-rings replaced, maybe the hoses too ? (IF NEEDED) or since its 9 yrs old should i just get the new parts and have someone install ? NO WAY WILL I PAY MIDAS TO DO IT.....

I had very good results with repairing my A/C leaks by using a R-134 Retrofit kit from Advance Auto. 35 bux sure beat the 800+ that the dealer was willing to charge me for a leaking o-ring.
