Not embarissing at all. Mold can develop on the evaporator core inside of the A/C box under the dash. One cause is leaves and dirt some times collects inside of the box from the inlet screen just below the right side of the windshield. Other times prolonged use of the MAX A/C can cause this. A plugged A/C box drain will also contribute to this. There are different cleaners/de-odorizers/disinfectants available, some you just spray into the A/C inlet under the windshield. Others you clear access to the MAX A/C duct under the R. side of the dash and spray in the de-odorizer in through there. It depends on the product you use. READ AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY. Some of the products are harmful when spraying them, so be careful. (After circulating through the car for the directed time they're no longer harmful) Go to any auto parts store and ask about de-odorrizing products for the A/C.
