hey i was just wondering is there any parts that are interchangeble between a mustang and an 83 thunderbird turbo coupe? like rear end, front suspension, interior parts, anything?

would a 2.3L Mustang motor work if i rebuild it and turbo it will ir drop in inplace of my 2.3L turbo thats in it now? the car has 380k iirc

I'm 98% positive that the engine will fit as both are 2.3 Turbos, just check the trans. If it's AOD, I believe you're fine. As far as anything else, I'm not too sure...

from what I have been told you can throw the ford performance catalog at the drivetrain. I am still un-clear if this is true.

I agree with thunder, that 2.3 is a 2.3. I also think the 5 speeds are similar as well.
