Engine Light 1997 T-Bird LX 4.6L

Just replaced the MAF less than 1 yr ago and light is back on..Whats the chances it could be the CATS...Car has approx 117,000 miles and the CATS have never been replaced.

Does the light read the same codes again?Was your MAF a reman. ? The light can be several hundred things.

I would think it it was the CATS you would be able to hear the diff so im not sure.

have ur cars code read at autozone.its free.what would make you assume its the CATS? i invested in a code reader cause i got tired of my light being on.i read and clear my codes myself.alot of times it something u dont think of.
