my bullet has been fired!
well, it has finally happened! i went to DMV and paid the fees and got my T-bird on the road. i am giddy with excitement! i have driven it a total of 10 miles but it was last tagged in 1977 so i am feeling good. still have a ton of cleaning and polishing. i have put an alternator conversion on it along with a pile of 428 brackets, pulleys and a CJ balancer. i have a duraspark conversion i will do as soon as i degrunge the rest of the engine and start detailing. i also have to jack up the back as it has been lowered too far and rubs on my 16" tires. the car was built in the 60's and is nosed and decked as well as shaved and slammed. i realize that i am the only bulletbird regular but i will keep posting and spreading the word! hawkrod:s6:
