Tomarrow around noon (16 hours from now...) My dad and I will test drive an 88 TC...Is there anything to look for? Since it's an Ohio car, I'm concerned about hidden rust problem areas. Any help You could provide would be greatly appreciated!

check the rocker pannles, and under the doors, their the 2 most problem areas also check deck lid and inside the cowl.

It was a 5 spd, but...it needed some power steering work, and the driver seat was broken, so I passed on the deal...but...I am now happy with my alternative purchase, a 79 T-bird Town Landau, with 53,000 original miles!!! Not bad at all for $1500! It is triple blue, with gold colored wheels and side pinstriping, and has a 351 W. Only one problem now..she absolutley HATES going up even the slightest hill!

Oh yeah, it does need more power. We had it fixed for like four days, but it broke down yet again, and far from home too. It had to be towed home in the rain. :( We think it;s the fuel pump, and it wil be fixed soon.
