I have a 97 tbird with the 4.6, my mechanic told me the motor parts are interchangable with the mustangs and that they are cheaper to buy than if you order tbird parts. Im not 100% on this, you may want to check with your parts dealer.
A 4.6 is a 4.6, no matter what it's in. They are interchangeable. However, there may be a difference in the "stroke" of the motor, hence the horsepower and torque differences.
All I wanna know is if the 94 transmission can be changed for one off a 4.6l mustang thats 1996 and up
and news to you guys...
there are big differences for the 92-95 romeo engine than with the 1996-2001 romeo... and one of them is the bolt on the front cover is moved exactly 1/2 of an inch...
