Got a thought in my melen now. I found a bird 96 4.6 litre. Problem is it has 207000 miles. Isthe buy worth it. How long can the car really go. 1300 at a dealer. Just a thought.

No offence but how long is a piece of string ? the car will go as long as it does. Is it a good buy ? You make the decision. It is 14 years old. Well 15 in a few months.

Hi, personally I would never buy any vehicle with over 100,000 miles on it unless it was an antique. With 200,000 miles, it is Murphy's Law in progress. [my opinion] But that is all some people can truely afford and better than financing a car that you can't afford.

I have an 06 charger that ive payed off. I garaged it for upgrades and use my 93 bird as a daily driver. Its not that I cant afford the car. I just really have alot of love for the bird. That and ford has not asked the gov. For a loan. Lol. I do feel the same way. You guys are both right. I love the idea of a 4.6.. I actually wanted a 5.0 bird when I bought mine, just could not find one. dont get me wrong, I love my car. I just love that wrap around look of dash on the 94 and up. I belive it was 94 when the dash design chaned.

so went and looked at bird. Man what a piece. Needs serious woom. I figure at least 5000 bucks. Paint is fubared ignition is gone, guy pullrd out lx seats and put sc seat in which are fubared. Alternater gone. Starter is toast. Trans is working but leaking pretty bad. Not worth 1300. Maby 500 at best.
