parameters dont reset

It appears that after i redline it once or twice(without turbo), the parameters for the MAF and TPS dont reset like they get stuck at a higher gear. What should i do?

Re: parameters dont reset

One suggestion comes to mind. Quit red lining it. What do you mean the parameters
won't reset ? What gets stuck at a higher gear ? A little more info would help.

Re: parameters dont reset

when the rpms go back down after giving it some gas, the parameters for the MAF and TPS dont return to normal. When it downshifts also.

Re: parameters dont reset

i'm obviously missing something. What do you mean parametewrs don't reset ? What
parameters ? What does a down shift have to do with anything ? Are you putting a scanner on this or is your engine light on ? You make no sense.

Re: parameters dont reset

no engine light. It seems like the maf wants to keep reading at a higher rpm. It dosnt return to an idle reading.
