Hello all,
A friend of mine acquired a 1989 firebird and we are looking at changing rims to 18" aftermarket rims.The problem is we are in the South of Russia near that black sea and are having trouble finding the right ones. What stud pattern code is the firebird?, does it share the same stud pattern with other makes and models?
I was thinking if we have the stud pattern code we could look into more options.

Technically 17" rims would work, but you'll have to offset the over-sized rim diameter with some really low profile tires. Then you'll be sacrificing ride quality for looks.

I would stick with either 15" rims and the stock sized 215/65-15 tires that came on the base model, or the optional 16" rims that were available with the stock 245/50-16 tires.

thanks for the replies. I told my friend about the situation, and i know there is nothing worse than scraping the tyres whever you have passengers.I am an Australian so i had a 1977 Holden torana with 5L and big rubber and can remember what problems can occur.
