Question Speaker Issue.

Hello to eryone who is reading this. I want to thank you in advance for any insite on this issue. So my concern is this: My left Passenger side speaker does not have any sound coming out of it nor does it even attempt to make a sound. The other three are working at 100% performance. So I thought I may have blown the speaker when I was lsitening to some techno. So I bought two new XPlod speakers for the back. And guess what the same issue is still happening. I even checked the built-in amp that comes standard with the car to power my speakers and it is running just fine.

So if anyone has any knowledge on this it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again.

Also my car a 97' Thunderbird LX 4.6L V8.

Re: Speaker Issue.

I'm not into audio systems but someone here knows about them. I'd suggest you also post this in the Audio and Security section. That might also help.

Re: Speaker Issue.

How did you check your speakers ? Did you check your wires from the radio socket to the built in amp then the wires from the built in amp socket to the rear ? Are any wires open to the back ? If nothing comes from the radio before the amp. you popped the
final on that channel. Are you sure the wiring isn't fused to the speakers ? If you did
blow the final check all wiring to all speakers because if there is a ground you will blow
the new radio. Make sure all speakers are matched and polarized. Don't use a ground loop for the speakers.
