Hey Whats Up? My mother in-law has a 94 Thundrbird and her check engine light is on? I was wondering if the OBD II worked on her vehicle? If not, does anyone know of any reasons wy the light is on? please help thanx...Judah

The obd2 should work if not there is a simple way to jump test the light, in other words a way to let the car tell you waht the problem is but you'll need a good manual which will have the codes. The jump test makes the check engine light flash a series of times giving you the codes. Check engine often has as their source problem some emission control device going bad.

Get into "The Zone" and have them pull the codes.
After 10 years I'd be figuring on oxygen sensors.
