Hey guys, just saw a picture of a 97 bird, with cobra "R" wheels and a cowl hood. Wow, what a transformation... talk about a mean looking car! I think the factory wheels really hurt the car, maybe they are just too small. Is the standard bolt pattern on a 97 t-bird, the same as a mustang? If so, what years of mustang use this same bolt pattern.? Also, I'm having trouble finding aftermarket parts for a 97 t-bird. Anybody, got any good sources for exterior, suspension, interior pieces.

Phone a wheel shop about the rims. The Thunderbird is not a very popular car. You will
have problems finding interior and exterior body parts. Suspension parts are very common
to most fords.

Thanks guyz,

It was probably the prototype SVT model they never built in production. You'd have to measure the bolt circle and backspacing of your stockers and an SVT wheel to see if it would fit. Consulting a wheel shop will help.

I want to say yes but I don't know for sure on the 5 lug models. I have a 84 bird with 89 mustang GT wheels (15 inch turbine) It was the best upgrade so far, right next to the true dual exhaust
