i have a 97 cougar with the 4.6liter, ive never had a problem with it till recently, i had gotten some bad gas. since then my car is running rough, ive gotten all the bad gas out. filled up with premium added fuel injector cleaner, changed the fuel filter, and changed out the plugs. left the wires and coil packs(never had an ignition propblem). i am at wits end tryin to figure it out, a friend of mine suggested a possible timing problem. im looking for other ideas.
