jmguest Registered User Join Date: Dec 2010 Posts: 3	2002 2.5L Hesitation/Missing 2000 cougar idles ruff, very irratic, brake pedal hard until go get up to speed. Any suggestions?

Bert 2002 F150 XLT Join Date: Nov 2008 Location: Oregon Posts: 9,124	Re: 2002 2.5L Hesitation/Missing Sounds like a vacuum leak. Check all of the vacuum hoses, especially to the brake booster. You could even plu the line to the booster and see what it runs like. The brakes will be hard to stop the car so just check in park. __________________ Bert
