2002 Cougar wont start
my friend has a 2002 cougar and it turns over but wont start. he replaced a clogged fuel filter, and he can hear the fuel pump start when he turns the key. it gets a spark just doesnt seem to get fuel i was going to check to see if it was getting fuel in the rail but it doesnt seem to have a check valve on it. he said he ran it out of gas the other day and last night when he was coming home it seemed to sputter, next day it wouldnt start. oh it has a 4 cyl and a stick shift and 110,000 miles on it
