I am trying to remove my oil pan and am stuck. I've removed everything the Helms ManuaL and Haynes Manual addressed but can't seem to lift the engine high enough to enable the rear of the pan to pass the bellhousing/crossmember.

Note: I do still have the rear wheels on the ground. Q: If I lift the rears so there is no weight will I change the geometry between the trans/engine and frame so as to allow the pan to pass?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
