I have a 94 Cougar XR-7 v8 and im looking to do a 5 speed conversion. I have a borg warner T-5 tranny i'm looking to install. I'm taking the clutch pedal, linakge, master and slave cylinders off of a super coupe as well as tranny mounts and cross member. Just worried about rear end. Don't think it's geared for it. Was thinking of a ford 9" but not looking to get rid of irs. Any ideas would be helpful.

You should have an 8.8 rear already. The ratio might be 3.08 with the 4R70W trany.
Most guy's install the M5r2 that comes with the Super Coupes.
