maverick2.0 Registered User Join Date: Nov 2005 Posts: 1	94 merc cougar power prob Ok...I know the title don't say much and yes it is my first post. When i go to accelerate, especially when the car is cold, it sometimes drops the power that is going to the car. It is almost like the battery gets completely drained when i go to accelerate. The volt meter on my dash goes way down to like 8 volts or less. I have checked the alternator and checked the fluid in the battery and both are fine. Any suggestions?
