buzza Registered User Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Adelaide Sth Australia Posts: 6	99 cougar fuel pump problems I have a 99 cougar auto that has typical symptoms of loss power when on 1/4 tank - uphill or quick corner movements. Posts have already listed Ford recall 04N02, I presume for Ford USA. I have purchased in Adelaide South Australia and have been advised that there hasn't been a recall with models imported to Aussie Land. As I don't trust my sources, can someone point me in the right direction where I can verify possibly VIN nos etc. Did some Cougars get built in Germany???? Did they use the same fuel pumps?
