99 cougar ignition is out

I bought a 99 Cougar today and when I got home it wont do anything. the window rolled down just before I towed it home but once there nothing. when I hit the ingnition, no lights at all come on and the only signs of life I see are the running lights in the front. im thinking a fuse is blown somewhere. and sugestions?the car has a 2.5

Not much info to go on, have you checked anything? Could be as simple as a bad battery or bad connection.

Sounds like the battery took a dump, if you have a multi meter check the voltage or take it to your local auto parts store, they can do a load check on it and see if its good or bad.
