I just put a 2000 cougar engine 2.5 into a 99 that had the same engine. The 2000 had a sensor. The 99 doesn't have a plug for the knock sensor and it is knocking with out it. I looked in the junk yard at 4 99's and none of them had sensors or plugs for it. Do I need to wire it up or is there another sensor that can fix the knock?

I finally found out the 99 doesn't have it until 5/99. The ecu has the pins though! I want to wire it in because it knocks bad. I need the pin-out for the ecu If anyone has it it would be really appreciated.
