I just got my wife a '94 cougar, and know nothing of this engine.
I have a '91 corvette
and do the work on that car, but am totally lost when it comes to working on her's, though she's only owned it now for about 48 hr's.
1st question:
What is the timing for the 3.9 engine?
the best performence timing may I add...yes I know, this is not a race engine or anything like that, but every little bit of performence I can squeeze out for right now will be good....for now, which brings me to my other question #2
What Is the first "free mods" can I do to free up some horses?
Later I plan on stepping up a little performence mod's for her in the future....she has to keep her "Lead foot" happy you know!
Bonus question!
What is the gapping for the plug's? the widest that I can go before hurting, not helping the performence?
