Okay let me start by saying I hate all these newer cars with electronics in them.
Well the battery light stays on in my daughters 2000 cougar. Went to auto store and they say the battery is fine and that the alt is at 30 and that it should be at 35 or higher. We even took a brand new battery and put it on the car just to see if the light would go out and no luck still on. I really do not want to pull the alt off since it looks like a major pain doing it. Any help would be great.
