Okay so I have a Check Light on and I looked at the scanner port and it looks like a OBDII port. The people at the auto parts store (everyone of them) swear up and down that its not and that it is a Ford Exclusive port. When I hooked into the Scanner it gave me the code for "Excessive Exaust Gas..." So I am thinking that since it gave me a code and plugged right in it should be OBDII port.

Hey Zethyr

The 94/95 in the MN12's are "pseudo" OBD-II. A standard OBD II scanner should work, but the EEC does not have/provide all the features/functionality as "true" OBD II.

Another tip is to tell Autozone that's a 96. Most don't know that's it's semi-OBD II in 94/95.

Regardless, I find that most of the people who work at auto stores are generally a bunch of retards.

Okay thanks for all that. and yes I know about them being generally clueless. Last time I had to describe the EGR valve that I needed when I got it.
