Cougar Club in Oz

Anyone interested in setting up a Cougar Club in Oz?

Clive Dennis has been trying to get enough interest going for some time but I figure it would be easier to set up an internet based association due to distances. We could probably get a Club Site hosted via www.mercurycougar.net even though it is focused mainly on classic cougars 1968 - 1973

Does anyone also have Clive's current email address

Thanks

Leon, you have a cougar club all of your own just with your cars. Would the club accept African cougars [LOL] or is that just a bit too far away......j/k.

Re: Cougar Club in Oz

Are you planning for just classic Cougars only or include New Edge Cougars? Would be great to have a local forum.

Re: Cougar Club in Oz

... I was looking at extending the Club as a chapter of the Cougar Club of America, that supports all model Cougars ... and Edge will be rare in Oz in a few years anyway

Big problem is getting people to participate ... usual "it's too hard" Oztralian problem

... but we're working on it

I'm all for it. I've been looking for an active Australia chapter for years.

Well if you accept swamp rats, tough drive though!

Thanks. Once I get my head above the crocs at work I'm going to start polling owners where I have emails and checking on interest. A virtual club sounds like a good place to start
