Whatsup Guys! Well heres my prob its about the 2nd time I change my EGR valve. Everytime I change my EGR Valve it cracks and breaks under pressure. Is it possible positive back pressure maybe causing it? Would it require me to replace both of my Catalytic converters? Been trying to figure this out im stumped any help would be appreciated!
One way to see if there's a blockage is with a vacuum gauge. The vacuum should be aroud 20" at idle. When you increase the RPM to around 2500 RPM the vacuum should drop momentarily and go back up to around 16"/ If the vacuum stays low, there's an exhaust blockage.
