I just purchased a 1991 Cougar 2 door Sedan, 6 cylinder. I was driving it home from where I purchased it and the headlights seemed to flicker on and off, quite similar to a strobe light. I tried turning the lights off and then turning them back on, and this did not help. The tail lights do not flicker and neither do the interior lights.
I found this site on a Yahoo! Search which lead me to
this thread, which isn't Cougar specific. I have no idea how complicated any of the reccomendations are on that thread, but I was wondering if there were any elaborations you all could make, that were more specific to a Cougar? I'd appreciate it so much, considering the mechanic I called wants $100 just to look at the damn thing.
