HELP! Insturment Panel Out... - Ford Forums

i turned on my 1990 Cougar, and i found to my luck the instrument panel is not lighting up. i can see a faint glimpse of it at night but nothing at all during the day. i tried the dimmer switch and the light switch but to no avail....is there a way i can fix this without going to an auto body shop? i hate spending money to find out it was a bulb i needed to change!

Did you ever find an answer? I have the same problem on my Exlplorer.

we had the same thing on the meteor a few days ago. being a shitter we just kept hitting the dash really hard....works now!
