HELP noise problems with 2000 cougar - Ford Forums

Hi all, if anyone can help i have a noise problem when starting up from cold it only lasts about a couple of mins but it is loud. I have been told that the noise is called moosing and that it is a cheap and simple fix but they didn't tell me what part i needed and where the part goes on to, please anyone i need help as the noise is driving me mad

thanks for the help (not) all you petrol heads and i end up speaking to a 17 year old boy racer and he gives me the awnser. anyway it was the air intake manifold and i bought one from fraud parts, ( sorry ford parts) £23

There are multiple Threads on newcouagr.org as well as a cougar group on myspace about this problem. I would suggest checking them out if you havnt already looked or gotten it fixed
