Hi, newbie here: I need help with noise
I have a 1994 Mercury Cougar, v-6, 3.8L. She has 200,000+ miles. Problem is I have a sound when I start my car. Sounds like a errrrrrrr sound. It also continues this sound until I kick in 2nd or overdrive. Now when I let of the gas it will start again until i kick it in again. The only thing done to my car before it started this noise was my brother checking my plugs. He didnt pull any. Help an old girl out, both of us lol. thank you
