Ignition Problems

Okay so here is goes,

Every now and again the car decides to be a little touchy and not start but if you let is sit is usually starts later. So I checked for spark. While this problem is happening there is not spark. So I replaced both ignition coils, spark plugs & wires. Though that should set her straight. Well Obivously not.

So my question is the following.

other than the computer what would cause this problem.

Re: Ignition Problems

I checked your previous posts and it's a 4.6. Possible crank position sensor.

Re: Ignition Problems

Hi,
I have a 1985 Chevy silver ado k10 and Ive got some ignition problems. I bought the truck about a month ago with it in non running condition. after checking the starter and battery i couldn't find a problem with them. when i go to turn the key there is not a click or any noise what so ever. and on the fuse box, only the fuses on the far left side are hot.
