i dropped the tank in my 2000 cougar to check the fuel pump because it over heats. when i put the tank back on the pump kicks on but wont send gas to the motor... is there something i need to do to make gas run through it?
I know there is a fuel shut off button on the inside by the trunk release (by your left foot kick pannel). You may need to reset it. Sorry not much help but I saw that on the 2000 cougar I just bought.
