Anyone know a permanent solution to stopping windscreen vent from dislodging from top of dash. It is pretty tight area to work in between windscreen and dash I haven't had success with double sided tape or silicone. Has anyone been successful??

Hi mate
You need to use a glue that can whitstand lots of heat, cold and humidity. I've never had this problem with Cougars but I've used contact cement and windscreen sealant on other cars and they both worked. Check first if any of the retaining clips are broken, if so you'l probably have to hold the vent down with masking tape or something similar until the glue settles down and if the vent has distorted try to bring it as close as you can to its original shape before you glue it on. cheers

hi there buzza, i use a thing in my job called fixabond, look it up if you think it may be of help to u. Its just a thought but it can work in any temperature it sets like metal... really good.
