Hawaiian Punch

I bought a Mercury cougar ('94), and we cant figure out how to re-set the door codes (the key pads on the driver side door) to the codes that we can remember for our self. Can anybody help me here? Mahalo.

IN order to set your own code you must have the original code set at the factory...If you do not then i don't think there is any way to set any codes. The original code should be located on the trunk hinge(left side) Should be 5 numbers. If you have the code i can give you directions to set your own to remember...

Hey thanks man!! actually I Do have the original codes, just wanted to change it for my wifes peace of mind being that the other owner lives not to far away from us in the next town over from us. lol.

If not on there it should be located on the PCM/ECU module under the dash.
