confused Turbo, possible?!?

Hey every one, just wondering if it is possible/worth wild to put a turbo in my 95 XR7, V8, 4.6L, Automatic transmission cougar? Or a supercharger?

Re: Turbo, possible?!?

both are possible you just have to find the s/c or t/c that goes on that year of 4.6 mustang. there will have to be custom programing for that setup as well. also bigger fuel pump, regulator, possibly fuel rails, timing changes, bigger fuel injectors, and many other little things. but yes it has been done before.

Re: Turbo, possible?!?

Check out the ProCharger website. They have tons of kits available that are intercooled, so the engine will last (knowingly at least) without having to build up heaving on the internals. You can get a custom unit to better suit any further mods you might have in mind where adding more boost is allowable should you decide to upgrade engine internals to handle the boost. Good luck! It'll be one wicked project!
