1999 Cougar V6, I replaced the TRS and I noticed what looks like a vacuum hose is rotted off where it goes into the transmission near the TRS. WhenI moved the car, I found the hose on the floor, and have no idea where the other end goes. I can't find a schematic for the vacuum hose routing, any help where it goes would be appreciated.

Can you post a picture of it and where you think it went?

I do not have a picture, the vacuum hose is about 18" long with a 90 degree bend at the end I don't know where it goes. When I get the car back tonight I am going to place one end on the inlet and rotate the hose and see where it stretches to. I sure hope I don't have to remove the battery tray again.
