I've been told that its a 2 to 3 month wait for delivery of a GT....has anyone ordered one recently?

I'll be upgrading the AU XR very soon as the lease will be up...so I want to time the Lease finish and the new delivery to happen fairly close together

Depends which dealer you go to. I got a SIDO number one minute after signing the contract on 9/5/03. I was allocated a June build one and I have been informed that it should arrive at the dealership on 1/7/03.

Reading in these forums I have noticed that there are guys who took months just to get a SIDO number.

My tip is go to ask a few dealers if they can give you a SIDO number if you sign up and don't forget to ask what build month that number relates to before signing. Also, there may no longer be a large waiting list so you may get yours quicker anyway.

thanks guys....I think I maight hang back a bit....i reckon the wait will be a little less later in the year.

I'm actually not due to change over till December...som maybe I'll order around september or October
