30th Anniversary EL GT Falcon

Hey,

Was just looking at a framed picture that my dad has in his bar of 4 different GT Falcons, and one of the pics was of the 30th Anniversary EL GT.

Does anyone on here own one or know of someone that owns one? I have never seen one on the street, or any that have been put up for sale so I am assuming they may be rare?

Any idea on how many of these were produced?

Not looking to buy one as I dont have the $$$, but I am just curious as to the whereabouts of these vehicles, and how they are to drive etc..

Cheers

Re: 30th Anniversary EL GT Falcon

Cheers.

Was just browsing uniquecars.com.au and found this one for sale:

http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!unique_content.enquiry?current_rec=44&page_number=5&vehicle_id=1936917&total_rec=562&sort_type=1&uc ategory_id=1&keywords=falcon

Now if only I had $41,000. Nah if I did I would be going towards a 2nd hand BA GT I reckon.

New GT's are are common as horse s**t where as the EL was a limited run in that shape and as rare as rocking horse S**t. I would go for the unique car any day it has a real presence about it and is collectable.

Re: 30th Anniversary EL GT Falcon

Yeah I suppose the unique factor would be very appealing.

Oh well if I win lotto one day I could buy one of each!

Re: 30th Anniversary EL GT Falcon

Hi guys,
My dad is about to look for a buyer for his EL GT. It is mint condition and has under 40,000km. Blue, manual, factory sunroof, car bra,12 months rego, unmodified. I just wish I could buy it but I don't have the cash. Is there anyone out there that would like to own a piece of modern history. I think the price is going to be around the $45,000 mark from memory.
Leon.
